Dr. Tamara Santos

Dr. Tamara Santos was born in Cuba and emigrated to Miami, FL, at the age of seventeen. After completing her high school education in Miami, she earned an Associate’s degree from Miami Dade College and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Nova Southeastern University. She received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where she had the pleasure of meeting and becoming very good friends with Dr. Laura Cabrera.

Since graduating from UF, Dr. Santos has completed continuing education coursework in cosmetic and implant dentistry, including multiple advanced classes in implant placement, smile design through veneers, and Invisalign®. She is currently certified to place TOX for minor cosmetic treatments and TMJ. Dr. Santos has worked in various clinical environments in Miami, FL, and Los Angeles, CA, and enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

In her free time, Dr. Santos loves spending time with her family, following her favorite sports teams, and relaxing at the beach. She also enjoys traveling with her wife, Elena, and teaching their new puppy, Gizmo, new tricks. Dr. Santos is excited to join her great friend, Dr. Cabrera, and the fantastic team at Relax and Smile Dental Care.
